Yoga of Prosperity Challenge

Hi, all! So what have I done on the Yoga of Prosperity Challenge subject?

  • CLARITY!
  • DON’T SUCCUMB TO FEAR

What are the biggest steps forward I’ve taken since I challenged myself and you out there-to increase our prosperity? It’s Sunday a day linked to the Sun the planet of immense power and energy.  As I am a Leo this felt like the best time of year to start.

So lets call this DAY ONE I’m going to set a target date of one year from today!  I’m still playing with the name of this self-challenge;  both the Yoga of Prosperity or the Yoga of Manifestation appeal to me.
I’ve set a target income.  I won’t share that but I will share what my rate of success or failure is in ongoing posts.  And because this should be helpful for you as a reader, I will outline what steps I’m taking that can help you too!

Again my perspective is coming from the more feminine approach of attraction of what you desire.  Meaning I will emphasize what I”m strong in: spiritual approaches.  I usually (as a friend also recently echoed) had little interest in money for most of my life.  Been a free spirit, doing holistic and artistic work that fulfilled me.   And like this friend-have found it’s necessary now to be more grounded-to understand money and manifestation of supply.  So I am not a financial analyst, or stock broker or a mini-Suze Ormon.  Tips will be coming from my background as a meditatior, yogini, teacher and intuitive.  It may be helpful to also educate yourself on the more rational, step-by step, money how-to’s, a more masculine mind approach.
Note we all have both approaches available to u.  The step by step balance the checkbook, tight budget, etc.  and the more intuitive, subtle “hints,” that can lead us to our Hearts Desire to quote psychic Sonia Choquette.  A dear friend purchased a book for me called Nine Designs for Inner Peace by Sarah Tomlinson. I had wanted it for some time, and we happened upon it at a used book store- in new condition.  It guides you to create Yantras (mystic designs) that can enhance various areas or aspects of ones life, including prosperity. So I’ll let you know how that goes.  And as I’ve mentioned that creativity is a type of abundance energy to be nurtured.  It makes sense to bring in a visual tool for manifesting.  The second and third books I’ve acquired are:  Shakti Mantras by

Thomas Ashley-Farrand, and also a translation of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali called Yoga Discipline of Freedom by Barbara Stoler Miller.   Mantras are ancient words of power from the Yogic tradition.  And Shakti refers to the dynamic, manifesting aspect, a feminine aspect of the Divine.

So Day One:  I’ve previously purchased and begun reading first the Shakti Mantras book.  Comments here are welcome.  Or join me at Sri-The Yoga of Manifestation on Facebook.  Sri can mean abundance, radiance, beauty all flourishing. In these times is it possible to infuse our lives with simplicity, beauty, joy, love and a sense of Sri of abundance?
