I generally do a bit gentler yoga and so it’s a balance for that type too. It’s all about balance.

Comment on 5 Great Holistic Health Care Websites by Allison http://www.yogablissdance.com/10-best-holistic-health-sites/#comment-102 Mon, 09 Jan 2012 22:54:16 +0000 http://www.theyogaofmanifestation.com/?p=3190#comment-102 There are lots of ways to be healthy, without spending a lot of money. This list is a very good start. The whole foods site is very useful. I think a lot of people are also deficient in natural b-vitamins, of which whole wheat is a very good source. And there is lots of evidence that many people are deficient in vitamin D, especially this time of year. You don’t have to pop pills for health. All that does is drive up health care costs.

Comment on Express Your Divine Passion, by listening to your innner PELE! by incubator http://www.yogablissdance.com/express-your-divine-passion-by-listening-to-your-innner-pele/#comment-79 Tue, 20 Sep 2011 18:11:06 +0000 http://www.embark-lovethelifeyoulive.com/?p=1536#comment-79 Thank u for the helpful insight to PELE :-)
I was in a spiritual shop 4 days prior and as i was
pondering at some small crystals……
Pele came to me in a lady who worked in the shop,
came up to me stood infront of me with a big happy smile on her face holding in both her hands a photo frame with the words I LOVE YOU and a picture of Pele inside,
I read it and said awww thank you and we laughed as i dont think she expected my words however why me there were other people in the shop I said must be a sign from someone looking out for me i felt it was my grandmother who passed in “09” and on reading what u have written relates to exactly what i have read in a book prior to my curiosity of what Pele Interprets…..be my true unique self deciding who i am-who i want to be. Express my divine true self:-)
Thank you:-)

I just read the following just a few minutes ago:

“As a yoga teacher, I’m convinced that every yoga practice
benefits the world in a subtle yet profound manner. So many
of the poses channel energy from the sky down through the
heart center & into the earth. Surely the earth must be
slowly healing through this concentrated focus of heart-centered
intention. We can feel our hearts opening during the practice,
letting our own inner radiance stream forth as our gift
to the world. It’s gentle and powerful at the same time.
Healing ourselves and the planet.”

–BACK TO THE GARDEN: Getting from Shadow to Joy
by yours truly! from the chapter “Get Yo’ Mojo Workin’!”

So even if we don’t utilize the chakra system consciously, it’s still part of who we are and how we express in the world. Thanks for your comment.

I love this explanation about how to tell if your 3rd Chakra is not functioning properly. I guess you would be a bit gun shy after a trauma. I find the chakra system fascinating. Thanks for the great post.
